NOVELLA is pleased to present "W/OUT", a solo exhibition of new work by Witts. For this exhibition Witts has created an installation comprised of life size figurative sculptures as well as a collection of photographs presented in light boxes. The show examines the dualities present in human relationships, exploring the qualities of distance and intimacy. His work connotes a physical presence. We are invited to witness the process through the materials; as viewers we become seduced by the residue of the artist’s involvement.

Witts received his BFA from Ohio University in 2005, and his MFA from Hunter College in 2009. He lives and works in New York City.
